At approximately 8:30 pm Tuesday evening, Byron the Bulldozer was fatally struck by a 2002 Toyota Prius, who was backing into the driveway of a luxury home. Mr. Bulldozer was left injured, became covered by leaves, and went unnoticed throughout the night. He was only discovered by the caretaker of the home, while she was removing the leaves from the driveway. While Mr. Bulldozer initially appeared to be responding to medical treatment, it became clear that the damage was too great - his wheels beyond repair and shovel unable to function properly. He was declared dead at 1:38 pm Wednesday. Funeral arrangements will be made in the next few days. Mr. Bulldozer is survived by next of kin, Terrance the Tractor.
