Big day...2 years old. Meant to write something yesterday, but too much going on and too tired. We had a great party last night - B and I made the cake (well, I decorated it, and he helped to mix and pour the stuff). It was fun, even if it didn't really look like Thomas (see left). At least it kind of looked like a train. Oreo's for the wheels, crushed up Oreo's for the coal in the tinder box. And the smoke stack, too. It tasted pretty good, too. He picked out red velvet cake - loves RED! We had ribs and creamed corn and broccoli salad and good wine and good company. He loved his presents - a GIANT slide and Tball set from Omi and Pa and trains and books and a Thomas blanket from mom and dad. He was very happy. Then Uncle Pippy read him a story before bed. What a great day! Happy Birthday, B. You are an AWESOME child. Cannot imagine life without you.
